BEHAVIOUR 2017 in Estoril

The SoHaPi PhD students organized three symposia at the 35th International Ethological Conference in Estoril (Portugal) in August 2017.

Annual SoHaPi Workshop in June 2017

The (almost) full research group met in Göttingen on June 8th and 9th for the annual workshop.

We invited Andrew MacIntosh to share his knowledge on the link between sociality and parasites in primate. Also there was extended time for the students to give progress reports and benefit of comments and advices from all the PIs and the guest. We also devoted time to work on the next steps of our research group and the follow.-up projects.

SoHaPi PhD student Nadine Müller introduces our guest speaker Dr. Andrew MacIntosh for his talk on "Monkeys in the middle: sociality and parasitism in a primate-helminth model system "

SoHaPi students' workshop: "Visual Story Telling"

A two days workshop on visual communication was held at the DPZ on the 6th and 7th June 2017.We were really lucky to have Tina Koch from Mediomix to teach us the basics of visual communication and introduce us to Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. We are now working on this new knowledge to deliver better posters, presentations at conferences and figures for publications!
